CONCLUSION: Using a large cohort, a modestly greater risk of bradycardia was found in patients with dementia taking cholinesterase inhibitors (ChE-Is) than in those not taking these drugs. In patients taking donepezil, the risk of bradycardia may increase with increasing doses.
